Kristen has been involved in athletics for most of her life. She was a highly competitive gymnast for many years until shoulder injuries forced her to leave the sport she loved. After reconstructive shoulder surgery, she played field hockey and set high school track and field records.
Kristen received a BBA in Finance/Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Here she also competed on the school’s NCAA Division I Diving team.
She has worked in Corporate Finance and Accounting, International Finance, and Health Care Compliance. With the need to remain active and the desire to help others, Kristen attended the National Personal Training Institute where she graduated at the top of her class and received her first credentials as a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutritional Consultant. She then went on to gain an additional gold standard certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Personal Trainer, and has been working with clients since 2006.
